Peyton Anderson Foundation Announces $250,000 Challenge

On March 18, the Board of Trustees of the Peyton Anderson Foundation Board awarded a $250,000 challenge grant to the Macon community to help meet the $500,000 needed by Georgians for Passenger Rail to develop the passenger rail from Macon to Atlanta.

Construction Update 012210

Renovation in the Main Lobby and Waiting Room is near complete. This work has repaired the marble floor and resurfaced it, cleaned the marble walls, completed the restrooms in the old Barbershop, repaired plaster and painted windows, ceiling, and trim. This work has created a beautiful venue for special events such as the New Years Eve Big Dance and today's retirement celebration for Mike Anthony.

NewTown GetDown event unveils new renovations at the Historic Terminal Station

Decembers NewTown GetDown will be the very first event in the newly renovated lobby of the Historic Terminal Station. The Terminal Station, the "Crown Jewel of Downtown Macon", is undergoing renovations and expansion. The Terminal Station will be an anchor of downtown and center for transportation. The newly renovated Lobby and Waiting Area will become one of the City's most unique event venues.
